The museum landscape based around the yearly Schubertiade Festival is a delightful mix of small and historically significant spaces. First and foremost are the Franz Schubert Museum and Schubertiade Museum where visitors can get a comprehensive overview of the stories of the great composers. However, during the Schubertiade Festival many other museums, galleries and rooms open up to immerse visitors in the world of music and cultural history.  

The museums are open during the Schubertiade in the towns of Schwarzenberg and Hohenems, but also open to groups by special appointment outside the regular hours.
