The Bodensee Vorarlberg region has long attracted visitor groups from all over the world - and with good reason. With its natural and cultural diversity, the Lake Constance region is considered among the most attractive in Austria. For group trips, it offers a great variety of possible excursions and a wonderful array of group hotels, whether next to mountain peaks or the shore of the lake. Some even take you right to the water’s edge, such as Seehotel am Kaiserstrand with its own bath house perched on stilts on the lake. It’s an architectural highlight in itself, and a picture-perfect spot for swimming against the backdrop of unforgettable sunsets. For all those who like to stay centrally but not far from the lake, look no further than downtown Bregenz. Hotel Messmer has had pride of place on the city’s central Kornmarktplatz for over 400 years and is a historical gem continuing centuries of tradition. Equally steeped in history is Hotel Weißes Kreuz, one of the oldest group hotels on Lake Constance, with a warm wooden interior, artistic touches and inimitable comfort. Slightly more modern and typical city hotels are to be found in the shape of Hotel ibis Bregenz. Despite the differences in style, there are common factors in all: short walking distances, infinite possibilities on the doorstep and Lake Constance just a stone’s throw away. The same goes for Sternen Hotel in Wolfurt, from where one can reach the most beautiful locations Vorarlberg has to offer. 

A little outside the centre of Bregenz lie some enchanting group hotels not far from the lake. These places consistently enchant their guests with an authentic time-honoured charm. Emblematic of this is the 100-year-old Hotel Lamm, well maintained and gently renovated, or the JUFA Hotel which welcomes group travellers to stay in the wonderful surroundings of this red-brick former textile factory just minutes’ walk from the lake. Conversely, with their distinctly contemporary flair there are options such as Hotel Schwärzler and 4-Länder-Hotel Deutschmann. Each of these group hotels are located slightly outside the city centre while still being central enough to serve as ideal springboards for trips throughout the Bodensee Vorarlberg region, as well as to Bregenzerwald or Montafon.
