You’ll be spending your lunch break in the wine-growing town of Meersburg. It’s then a comfortable ferry crossing to Konstanz before an undisputed highlight: the “flower island” of Mainau. Stroll through a sea of flowers, losing yourself among exotic trees and colourful butterflies.

The return journey to the hotel may be made along the Swiss side of Lake Constance, taking in a third country of the day and rounding off this idyllic lakeside tour.
