Natural and art treasures

Picturesque mountain worlds and panoramas are revealed on a trip through the Bregenzerwald. The museum of local history in Schwarzenberg shares information about the past residents of the valley and what life was like there. Its modern and renovated premises simultaneously provide an insight into the art of Angelika Kauffmann, the famous baroque painter. It’s recommended that, after taking a stroll around the listed town centre, visitors continue on to Schoppernau to take the cable car up to the Diedamskopf.

This is where you can enjoy the wonderful mountain panorama and a portion of cheese spätzle or a hearty snack.

The afternoon will then be dedicated to a schnapps tasting at the Schaubrennerei und Imkerei Bentele (Bentele brother’s demonstration distillery and apiary).
